System Analyst (Business Intelligence)

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform systems analysis, systems design, systems development and systems quality assurance.
  2. Gather requirements from users, designing, implementing and maintaining application systems according to the project needs and goals.
  3. Provide continuously support for the Statistical Systems and Data Warehouse.


Requirements:

  1. Tertiary education (Degree or Diploma) in relevant field is preferred.
  2. At least 6 years of working experience in systems analysis, systems design, systems development and systems quality assurance.
  3. Able to work independently in gathering requirements from users, designing, implementing and maintaining application systems.
  4. For support of the Statistical Systems, the candidate shall have the relevant working experience in the following platforms and programming language:
    1. IBM Mainframe MVS/ESA
    2. Easytrieve Plus
    3. SAS
    4. Teradata
    5. Microsoft SQL Server
    6. Microsoft SQL DTS/SSIS
  5. For support of the Statistical Systems, the candidate shall have the relevant working experience:
    1. To service ad-hoc and urgent statistical requests
    2. To maintain/enhance the statistical and survey systems
    3. Data warehouse projects
  6. For support of the Data Warehouse, the candidate shall have the relevant working experience in the following platforms and programming languages:
    1. IBM Mainframe MVS/ESA
    2. SAS
    3. Teradata
    4. Microsoft SQL Server
    5. Microsoft SQL DTS/SSIS
    6. Tableau
    7. Informatica PowerCenter
  7. For support of the Data Warehouse, the candidate shall have the relevant working experience:
    1. Data warehouse design, development and its maintenance
    2. Data loading and its process
    3. Data model and the use of data modelling tool
  8. Good communication and written skills.
